The Challenge
The Challenge
We needed to prepare participants for a formative usability study on the navify Digital Pathology platform. The training had to provide enough context to reduce confusion, but not so much that it primed behavior or compromised the authenticity of usability data.

I collaborated with the Human Factors Engineer to align with the use error analysis, determining where more or less training emphasis was appropriate. At the same time, I worked with the Customer Relations team to ensure the videos reflected real-world training expectations. I also consulted other UX designers and the internal consulting team leading the study to align on scope and delivery.

This project underscored the value of intentionally balanced training—enough to support users without priming their behavior. Collaborating closely with Human Factors and Customer Relations helped ensure the content was both strategically focused and representative of real-world conditions. Personally, the project also reinforced the importance of adaptability—delivering high-quality results quickly using only basic, readily available tools.
